We have been supplying the finest accessories to the bicycle industry for more than 25 years. You will find our rims to be the best that you have ever used. Our water bottle cages are second to none and we take pride in every wheel that we build. As you will see on the following pages, we offer something for everyone who rides a bike. Race it, ride it on tours, club rides or around the cul-de-sac. Ride singletrack, fire roads or trails. Go downhilling, street riding, dirt jumping or BMX racing. Relax in the comfort of a recumbent or hit the cyclocross circuit. Just go ride your bike and get your friends to ride theirs. Remember, it's fun! And please remember to wear your helmet!
Velocity Roots
Velocity Bicycle Accessories originated in Brisbane Australia over 25 years ago with the introduction of our adjustable water bottle cage; the Velocage. Since that time we have expanded our offerings to include rims, wheels and other cycling accessories for nearly every style and size of bike imaginable.
All our rims are made in house. Velocity rims were manufactured still with pride at our Brendale factory in North Brisbane, Australia to the end of 2011.
At the start of 2012, Velocity relocated their entire manufacturing facilities to Jacksonville, Florida in the USA, where there they are still handmade, on the same machines by the same man since day 1.
We Ride
We believe that the ultimate test for bicycle accessories is on the bike, in the real world. At our factory you don't see people in white lab coats with clipboards analyzing data. You see people who ride their bikes to and from work and on the trails, roads and velodromes. Our main product testing focus? We ride.
We're Serious about Quality
All of our products are from locally made aircraft grade aluminum. While it doesn't make us fly, it's light and strong. We design and build our own manufacturing machines as well. That's right. We know so much about making this stuff that we don't need to rely on standard, run-of-the-mill equipment. Finely tuned equipment is a great start towards exceptional quality.
